Ric may have an ulterior motive for turning Alexis in on the September 6, 2024 episode of General Hospital.
After Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) brought Ric (Rick Hearst) into an empty hospital room to talk privately, he did all he could to convince her to join him in telling the PCPD what they saw Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) do. Elizabeth tried brushing it off, saying she was positive Alexis would never kill anyone, but Ric managed to get her down to the police station with him.
The pair approached Chase (Josh Swickard), who took them to the interrogation room, where they each gave their statements about what they saw. Ric was dead set on Alexis disposing of a gun, while Elizabeth tried leaving it up to interpretation and made it clear in her statement she did not believe Alexis was John’s (ex-Adam Harrington, who said his goodbyes to GH) murderer.
When Elizabeth headed back to GH and Ric stayed behind to retrieve his pen, Chase brought it out to him, and that was when Ric put on the worried father act. He told Chase he couldn’t believe Alexis would do something like this, but he also knew how protective of a mother his ex is.
“She has killed before,” Ric decided to tell Chase before reminding him she had just gotten her law license back and hoped she wouldn’t jeopardize that, alluding to his secret hope she does indeed lose her newly-acquired law license.
