General Hospital’s Rena Sofer Debuts Meaningful New Tattoo

On General Hospital, Lois changed her whole voice not too long ago. Now, Rena Sofer has made a big change to herself in the form of a stunning new tattoo with a significant meaning.

Sofer took to Instagram to showcase a beautiful new tattoo with a series of photos and videos of the process. She lost her dog, Alfie in March.

She wrote, “THANK YOU to the amazing [Julianne Ashby] and [Shamrock Social Club] for the amazing new tattoo of my boy Alfie.

“I’ve had such a hard time saying goodbye to my ❤️dog and I wanted to see his adorable face every day,” continued the soap star. “Julianne did the most incredible single needle work and spent as much time as I needed getting him just right!! and especially thank you @sbookstaver for being my all around photographer and emotional support everything!

Some of Sofer’s former co-stars chimed in with love for her new ink.

Fans also wrote of their love for the tattoo and its meaning. In fact, the actress inspired others to commemorate a beloved pet in the same way. A few had even had the same idea themselves.

“I just love this of your beloved Alfie! May have to do for my heart dog Bellatrix,” wrote one fan.

“What an amazing gift to yourself. I lost mine Sophie about 2 months ago. I need to look into this,” replied another.

“That’s beautiful Rena, I have 3 pet portraits 2 dogs and 1 cat❤️,” another viewer wrote.
