Portia is concerned about Brad’s return for more than just the obvious reasons on the September 23, 2024 episode of General Hospital.
Cobalt Conspiracy
While meeting with Terry (Cassandra James), Portia (Brook Kerr) got the unfortunate news that Brad (Parry Shen) is back working in the GH lab. She initially fought the new hiring decision, and even questioned how Terry could allow him back at after the way he previously tampered with lab tests.
“We cannot allow Brad Cooper access to confidential information,” Portia argued before assuring Terry she would be keeping an eye on him. Terry later confided in Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) about hiring Brad back, while Portia met with Trina (Tabyana Ali) to let her know the update on Heather’s (Alley Mills) blood test.

That was when Portia flashed back to what viewers could already assume she did. After drawing Heather’s blood and handling the vile herself, Portia sneaked in and changed the results, increasing the amount of Cobalt to make it look like there was no change. But unbeknownst to Portia, Heather’s lawyer, Ric (Rick Hearst), is in the process of ordering a brand new test after an outside source’s blood test showed a lesser level of Cobalt.
A New Target
After Portia’s hypocritical attack on Brad’s hiring, things could quickly take a turn for her now that he’s back in the lab. While he’s got no reason to change any test results, if he happens upon what Portia did, there’s no telling how far she’d go to protect herself and her daughter.
