Port Charles Remembers Luke On His Birthday On July 23 General Hospital

On the July 23, 2024 episode of General Hospital, those closest to the late Luke Spencer remembered him on his birthday.

When Ned (Wally Kurth) found an extra cranky Tracy (Jane Elliot) at the stables, he knew her worse-than-usual mood had heartbreak behind it. Ned noted it was understandable on “today of all days” before revealing it was Luke’s (ex-Anthony Geary) birthday.

Tracy reminisced about her marriages to Luke, emphasis on the plural, before agreeing with her son that Luke was the love of her life.

A Good Time

Later, Tracy met Sonny (Maurice Benard, who recently revealed his side hustle) at the park and noted how the old location of Luke’s club could be seen in the distance. Sonny thought back on the last time he saw his old friend, on the waterfront before Luke walked off into the sunset. “Luke was always a good time,” he remembered.

These mentions and memories of Luke come just as his son, Lucky (Jonathan Jackson), is making his way back to Port Charles. Could Lucky’s return go hand-in-hand with a possible Luke return? Although the legacy character has been presumed dead at the hands of Victor (ex-Charles Shaughnessy), it would be far from the first time a Cassadine has faked a Spencer’s death.
