Parry Shen Doesn’t Believe Brad Is Back In The General Hospital Opening Credits…But He Is

General Hospital fans are happy that Parry Shen has returned as the former schemer and perpetually nervous Brad Cooper. Many fans pay attention to the tiniest details, including which actors appear in the show’s opening credits. Shen posted a funny video in which he shared his frustration at not being in the opening sequence. But he was sadly and hysterically mistaken.

Hilariously Oblivious

Set to the tune of Funny Song by Funny Song Studio, a video Shen shared on Instagram opened with a screenshot of a fan post that stated, “Parry Shen as Brad is back in the opening credits!” It then cuts to a TV with the GH opening credits playing. He wrote, “I’ve heard through the social media grapevine that #Brad is back in the #GH opening credits — but I’ll believe it when I see it. 🤨.” (Check out Shen’s funny return to the studio.)

With his great comedic timing, Shen strolled in front of the television, sipping a cup of coffee, and completely missed his image as if flashed on the screen amidst his castmates. He then looked at the camera and started talking. A little lip-reading indicated that he most likely said, “What?” and then, “Where?” He looks back and forth from the camera to the TV, seemingly stating, “Was I just on? Did I miss it? I didn’t even know it was on already.” And when the credits finished, he clearly yelled, “Oh, COME ON!”

A Baaa-rilliant Scheme

One fan responded, “😁 It was at the beginning,” to which Shen replied, “@kaw72086 NO WAY!!” Another fan chimed in with, “@parryshen Yes Way! 😁.” His followers were extremely happy that he’s returned to the show. One who’s been following the storylines wrote, “Woohoo!! Welcome back 🙌. I can’t wait to see you again. Portia better not pin the lab results on you. 🤬I’ll be so mad.”

The fan was referring to the fact that Portia (Brook Kerr) altered Heather’s (Alley Mills) lab results so the former serial killer wouldn’t get out of jail. However, Ava (Maura West) discovered the scheme and confronted Portia. She may need a scapegoat to get out of it, but Brad could be the perfect one. A couple of fans still tried to describe where his image was in the credits, but the overall consensus was summed up nicely by one fan: “So happy that you are back!! I love your energy as Brad!”
