Ned, Lulu, and Lucky have all touched on past storylines lately.
General Hospital has a rich history. Recently, the past has been front and center, which is no surprise given the return of legacy characters such as Lucky and Lulu.
Lulu (Alexa Havins — here’s how we think she’s doing as Lulu) just woke up from a four-year coma. She was immediately walking, talking, and hitching a ride from the moment she opened her eyes. When she finally found her brother Lucky (Jonathan Jackson), he tried to update her on all the news from Port Charles.
When Lulu asked about her dad, the legendary Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary), her brother had to break the news that he had passed away. We all felt Lulu’s devastation as she had to accept that Luke was gone at the hands of the Cassadine family.
Lucky’s return may spark a new chapter in his love story with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst). Theirs was one of the greatest teen romances in GH history.
Lucky came to Liz’s rescue after she was raped, and they eventually fell in love. Their story was sweet and innocent, and it felt like they would be together forever. But the evil Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) kidnapped Lucky, and things were never quite the same.
Now that he’s back, Liz and Lucky are reminiscing with great flashbacks from their teen years, and it appears they just may reunite as adults.
Over the years, there have been many affairs in Port Charles. One of the craziest was between Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson). The two met while Monica was on a spa vacation and slept with a worker. She later found out he was her nephew, Ned.
The latest Quatermaine affair is between Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) and his nephew’s wife, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen). The big reveal occurred in a video in front of the entire family during a Christmas party, to the delight of Ned and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot).
In trying to defend his actions, Drew thought it was a good idea to bring up the long-ago affair of Ned and Monica. Unfortunately for him, it did not help his case.
