No Fooling: GH Star Michael Easton Is on Instagram

There weren’t plenty of April Fool’s Day soap-related pranks out there earlier this week but Michael Easton becoming active on Instagram wasn’t one of them. We hear that the General Hospital actor’s social account is bona fide — the real deal.

“Hi. I’m Michael. I’m new here,” Easton humbly shared in his first post on Instagram. The actor has played Dr. Hamilton ‘Finn’ Finn on GH since 2016.

The actor may have been motivated to join the social media world more fully so that he could pay tribute to his late pal, Kamar de los Reyes, who passed away late last year, and made his final appearance on All American on Monday.

Later in the week, Easton hopped onto the platform again and asked followers for advice on how the whole social media process works. “Thank you all for being so nice,” he posted. “Any suggestions where we go from here?”

Easton’s not limiting his posts to just GH-related news. He’s sharing photos of his beautiful family including his dog. “Some things about me (hopefully this doesn’t feel like speed dating),” he dryly notes, hastening to seriously add, “I love my children. I love being a dad. I love my wife. I love my dog.

“Sometimes I play a doctor and try to use really big words,” Easton shared in yet another post. “But in the beginning no one wanted to work with me, so I did all my scenes with a lizard. Eventually they let me operate (not sure if this patient made it, doesn’t look promising) and gave me a cool brother [Josh Swickard, who plays Chase], an incredible father [Gregory, Gregory Harrison] and the most amazing daughter [Jophielle Love, Violet] anyone could ask for.”
