Starting Monday, September 8, 2025, a new season of GH will begin, following a new season of The Jennifer Hudson Show a week later. GH enters its 63rd season, while TJHS kicks off Season 4 on September 15.

While GH has aired at 2:00 PM for the last 13 years on Boston’s WCVB and affiliates like WMUR in New Hampshire, it’s now going back to its original time slot of 3:00 PM. The soap will now be preceded by TJHS at 2:00 PM.
What’s This Mean For GH?
In places like Boston, MA and Manchester, NH, you may have caught ads during GH’s latest commercial breaks where stars like Laura Wright (Carly), Finola Hughes (Anna), and Katelyn MacMullen (Willow) let you know that GH would soon begin airing at 3:00 PM, but what’s this mean for ABC’s longest lasting sudser?
Airing at 3:00 PM will be a blast from the past for longtime GH viewers, as the soap aired at that time from 1977 to 2012. The 3:00 PM time slow saw Luke (Anthony Geary) and Laura’s (Genie Francis) wedding, Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) Port Charles mob takeover, Patrick (Jason Thompson) and Robin’s (Kimberly McCullough) love story, dozens of Quartermaine Thanksgiving pizzas, and so much more.
In these regions, GH will also no longer be in competition with Beyond The Gates, which premiered in CBS’ 2:00 PM time slot back in February.
