Ever since Robert Scorpio popped up in Port Charles at the tail end of 1980, General Hospital fans have been aware of the existence of the World Security Bureau. Since then, we’ve met not just Robert but O’Rilley, Connie, Anna, Sean, Frisco, a bunch of traitors, major and minor, and Brennan. But these folks are all the old guard. The WSB needs some new blood, STAT. And Brennan knows exactly who he wants to recruit.
Just Joss
We’ve already outlined why Joss (Eden McCoy) would be a good candidate, here. But the last few weeks have only confirmed it. Joss won’t rest until she gets justice for Dex (Evan Hoffer). Sure, she went a bit overboard insisting on Cyrus’ (Jeff Kober) arrest—and Anna (Finola Hughes) rightfully called her out on it. But that just proves how passionate she is. WSB agents have to be passionate. That’s how they bring down evil weather machines, evil rock stars, evil treasure thieves, and evil… evil-doers.
Once Joss sets her mind on something, nothing can stop her. Not common sense, not logic, not being told she is actually making the situation worse. How all-American is that?

Partners in Crime
But WSB agents don’t work alone. Robert (Tristan Rogers) teamed up with Sean (John Reilly) and with Anna, plus he had Luke (Anthony Geary), Laura (Genie Francis), and Holly (Emma Samms) helping him unofficially over the years. Joss needs somebody to bounce ideas off, too.
And Brennan (Charles Mesure) seems to be circling Emma (Braedyn Bruner), too. She’s WSB royalty, Anna and Robert’s granddaughter. And she has skills like pick-pocketing. And snark.
Two Heads Are Better Than One
Sure, these two young women really don’t like each other. Which makes it better. For us. Who needs happy smiling crime-stoppers when we can get a pair who get on each other’s nerves all the time? Oil and water is where it’s at. Joss and Emma could be entertaining sleuths for decades to come!
