General Hospital’s Nancy Lee Grahn And Carolyn Hennesy Have A Hilarious Adventure

On General Hospital, Nancy Lee Grahn and Carolyn Hennesy’s characters, Alexis and Diane, have enjoyed duking it out in the courtroom as occasional opposing lawyers. The two are great friends, though, and now that Alexis has her law license back, she’ll be working with Diane. In real life, Grahn and Hennesy are also besties, and their constant banter — with Hennesy’s oft irritation with her friend — is delightful to watch.

Videos On a Fan Event Tour

Grahn and Hennesy appeared at a fan event in Boston and made videos both before it and after as they journeyed to their next stop in New Jersey. Hennesy posted a video on Instagram where Grahn explained how she got bumped from business class to first class on her flight with Hennesy, who did not seem too happy about it. She captioned it with brutal honesty: “If I could hate you more, I would.” (Find out what Hennesy’s favorite GH scene is!)

The next video on the same day was accompanied by the text, “Fun times with Carolyn and Nancy! She got bumped to first and I KNOW she’s up there laaaaaughing at my pain!”

Grahn had squished herself onto Hennesey’s seat temporarily, and they talked about some kids who had donuts behind them, implying that their sugar rush would make Hennesy’s flight less enjoyable. Then Grahn mentioned getting bumped, and her companion said, “I hate you so much.” Grahn kept going on about what she would be doing in first class, to which Hennesy hilariously told her to “Shut up!”

Over the weekend, Grahn and Hennesy were in a van heading from their Boston meet and greet to the next one. In an interesting and creative move, both made videos for Instagram with Grahn in the front passenger seat and Hennesy seated behind her. The first video was of Hennesy, who captioned it, “Day one of the Nancy and Carolyn Bus and Truck tour. Great group this morning, wonderful event. Boston rocks! On to New Jersey.” Hennesy asked Grahn, “Are you seriously doing that? Are you videotaping me, videotaping…me?”

Grahn could be heard in the front seat, to which Hennesy stated, “And that’s Nancy talking in the background. Talking over me.” She explained what a great time they had at the Boston event and gushed about how wonderful the fans were. She added, “They were very tolerant of Nancy.”

The Instagram video from Grahn’s point of view was accompanied by “Nancy’s version…in which she berates me for my culinary choices.” In it, we saw and heard Hennesy making her video in the back seat, and Grahn eventually changed the topic to all of the junk food that her companion had eaten on their trip, including McDonald’s. Watching these two together, we can totally see the hysterical chemistry they have in real life that translates to their GH characters, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
