It’s been Molly and TJ’s toughest year yet on General Hospital, and the couple found themselves adding another loss to the list on the December 4, 2024 episode.
Breaking Up Is Hard To Do
After Molly (Kristen Vaganos, who recently dished on her character’s relationship) and TJ (Tajh Bellow) finally hashed things out, Molly’s decision to not have any more children pushed TJ to spend the night somewhere else. The couple has already put enormous distance between them since losing their baby, and their differing feelings toward becoming parents seems to be the final straw for both of them.
Despite being together for nearly 13 years ago, their domestic partnership took a hit the minute Molly got her endometriosis diagnosis. After that, the couple suffered a miscarriage via their first surrogate, lost their daughter after their next surrogate, Kristina (Kate Mansi), fell out the hotel window, then mourned the loss of Sam (ex-Kelly Monaco). And after pouring their hearts out to each other, they each took their grief to the people they trust most.
Beginning Of The End
While Molly confided in Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) about her broken relationship, TJ wound up talking to both Jordan (Tanisha Harper) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) after showing up at his uncle’s office needing a place to stay. TJ revealed he and Molly don’t see a way back from losing their daughter, acknowledging that he can’t force Molly to have another baby with him.

Meanwhile, Molly distracted herself with Ava’s (Maura West) trial until she couldn’t any longer and confessed all to her mom. Alexis agreed that grief could pull them apart as easily as it could bring them together, and when Molly noted it was her last chance to be a mother, supported her daughter’s decision to not have another child.
