Michael Easton reunites with TV family.
Former General Hospital actor Michael Easton recently reunited with his TV family at the GH Fan Club Weekend, which took place August 1 – 4 in Glendale, California.
The GH Fan Club Weekend gave Easton (Finn) the opportunity to reunite with his on-screen family, Josh Swickard (Chase) and Jophielle Love (Violet). The ex-GH star posted the heartwarming photos on his Instagram account. The first image featured both Swickard and Love, while the second shined a spotlight on the TV father-daughter combo.
In his post, Easton gave us a little insight and reaction to his meeting up with two of his favorite actors to work with, writing, “Loved catching up with the family last night. Two of the most wonderful people on the planet @jophiellelove and @joshswickard and I am blessed to know them. Thank you to everyone who came out for a good cause. Hope you had as much as we did.”
The GH Fan Club Weekend serves several purposes. It connects actors with loyal fans who watch General Hospital daily and allows current cast members to reconnect with alums. This year’s current crop of actors who attended the popular fan event included Tabyana Ali, Evan Hofer, Maura West, Cynthia Watros, Rebecca Herbst, and Maurice Benard.
In addition to Easton, Ted King, Greg Vaughan, Cari Shayne, Ignacio Serricchio, and Michelle Stafford were some of the alums who attended this year.
Easton’s emotional exit aired roughly five weeks ago when Finn left his brother and daughter to enter rehab. What played out were heartbreaking scenes, especially the ones between Finn and Violet. Earlier this summer, Easton reunited with his TV dad, Gregory Harrison.
No word on his next acting opportunity. He said he doesn’t think it’ll be Days of Our Lives, where he once played Tanner. One of his other former GH co-stars — Rebecca Budig (the new Dr. Taylor Hayes) — just landed at Bold and the Beautiful. So, who knows, anything is possible.
