Is Michael Cyrus’ Next Victim On January 10 General Hospital?

With Michael unconscious in the burn unit, he may have just become the next victim of a digitalis overdose on the January 10, 2025, episode of General Hospital.

Tensions Rise

Things have been tense at GH since Michael (Chad Duell) was brought in with burns. Carly (Laura Wright) and Drew (Cameron Mathison, who heartbreakingly revealed he lost his home in the Los Angeles fires) had it out in the chapel over who’s most at fault for Michael’s accident, while Joss (Eden McCoy) continued tearing into Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) until Nina (Cynthia Watros) showed up to protect her precious daughter.

Meanwhile, once Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) found out about Michael, she rushed to GH to check on the father of her baby. There, Jason (Steve Burton) comforted her, sparking more viewer’s thoughts about whether these two should end up together.

A Turn for the Worst

Things took two drastic turns for Michael and his family as he lay sedated in the burn unit. The first was dumb, dumber, and dumbest – aka Willow, Drew, and Nina – who devised a plan to get the kids back. When Drew suggested Willow play the Michael’s health proxy card, she appeared to inform Carly and Sonny (Maurice Benard) that every decision about Michael’s care was now up to her.

While they were all out in the hall and Jason left to take Sasha home, someone not-so-unexpected was able to sneak into Michael’s room. They pulled their mask down to reveal themselves as Cyrus (Jeff Kober), who assured a sedated Michael that he would soon be at peace. That was when he pulled a bottle of digitalis from his pocket and injected it into Michael’s IV bag.
