Kirsten Storms has let fans know that she is taking some time away from General Hospital. The actress is moving to Tennessee with her daughter and requested a break from the show. What will happen to Maxie?
Maxie’s Heart Attack
This week, our beloved Maxie collapsed during a live episode of Home & Heart. She flatlined at GH, but thankfully, Lucas (Van Hansis) and Elizabeth were able to revive her. It appeared as if she had a heart attack. This worried everyone, especially because she had BJ’s (Brighton Hertford) heart transplanted to her when she was very young. After reviewing Maxie’s tests, Lucas (who happened to be BJ’s brother) found that her heart is in good shape.
The overwhelming feeling is that the Deception cream that she used on her face was poisoned, most likely by Sidwell (Carlo Rota). Unfortunately, Maxie is not waking up. Her family is frantic, and the doctors cannot figure out what is wrong.
Maxie In A Coma
Maxie probably won’t die because the actress will be returning. GH can always pull the “back from the dead” storyline, but that might not be a good look in this case. Maxie is too loved in Port Charles, so the anguish would be too great for her to return to life in a few months.
It looks like a coma for Maximista. She will be following in the footsteps of her bestie, Lulu (Alexa Havins). Let’s hope they do not move her to the same facility. That was the place where the staff allowed Cyrus (Jeff Kober) to take control of her medical decisions without permission. They also didn’t notice when Lulu woke up and just walked out of the facility. Felicia (Kristina Wagner) and Mac (John J York) may want to find a more professional setting for their daughter.
