Maurice Benard has been having one fan favorite after another on his State of Mind podcast, and now he’s teasing his next guest that General Hospital fans will be excited to watch.

Benard (Sonny) has been having a slew of soap stars on his podcast recently. His latest featured The Young and the Restless’ Lauralee Bell (Christine), then before that was GH co-star Cameron Mathison (Drew).

Now, Benard took to Instagram to reveal an upcoming guest. The actor started filming from inside a restaurant and revealed he was on his way to the studio to shoot the next episode of SOM.
After admitting he had a pre-shoot beer, Benard began the big reveal. “Right now I’m going to see somebody from General Hospital. Trust me, you’re going to love her.”
After readjusting his phone on the dashboard, Benard continued, “She’ll be at my studio, this actress. I’ll give you a hint: she’s young.”
Once Benard arrived at his podcast studio, he revealed his guest. Donning a mint green dress, in walked co-star Eden McCoy (Josslyn). McCoy greeted Benard with a hug, then introduced him to “her man” off-screen.

The video was met with love from co-stars, including Lydia Look (Selina), who commented with hearts and a laughing-tongue-stuck-out emoji. Vanessa Marcil (Brenda) also replied with the same emojis.
McCoy’s upcoming episode will mark her second appearance on SOM, and the first since losing her mother to cancer in November 2023. And between Sonny’s heart surgery and attempt to get out of the mob and Josslyn’s latest venture with the WSB, these two will surely have a lot to catch up on.
