The multiple Daytime Emmy-winning star wanted her followers to know how touched she was by what her former co-star did with this particular episode. “Our first interview together in over a decade,” revealed Brown on her official Twitter account. “It was truly such a pleasure doing this one. Thank you [Maurice Benard] for having me on [State Of Mind]!!! I’m profoundly moved that you had the class to dedicate this episode to my Dad.”

Benard retweeted her and added, “Thank you Sarah you were class personified. Just let the SOM’s audience speak for themselves.” Of course, fans followed up with their thoughts on the extraordinary episode, in which both talked about the profound loss each felt when they lost their dads, whose support helped them achieve so much success.

Viewers of the ABC soap will enjoy hearing about her path to General Hospital, which includes learning from incredible teachers like Castle’s Penny Johnson Jerald, helpful neighbor Amy Jo Johnson who was a fellow Power Ranger, her audition (find out the surprising person she screen tested with!) for GH, castmates she adored working with and more but it was the discussion about their fathers (Benard’s father adored dancing with Brown) that you will find really touching, especially when the actress reveals what her father’s last moments were like — it will give you chills.

Sarah Joy Brown also discussed her directing career, dealing with celiac disease, and so much more. You can watch this entire episode by clicking here. While there, be sure to subscribe. Also, you can follow Brown on Instagram and Twitter.
