Laura wasn’t expecting to see this person at Lulu’s bedside on the August 20, 2024 episode of General Hospital.
After Laura (Genie Francis, who Jonathan Jackson recently revealed he’s excited to work with again) was asked to go to the facility where a comatose Lulu resides, she found someone she never expected to see standing over her daughter’s bed. “What the hell are you doing here?” she asked, shocked to see Cyrus (Jeff Kober) stood by Lulu, holding a bible.
Cyrus let his sister in on a little secret: he visits his niece every week and reads her the Bible. When Laura questioned her brother’s motives, he offered to stop visiting Lulu, but Laura decided to table the conversation, needing to focus on Lulu and the update the doctor had for her.
Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) showed up while the doctor informed them they were still waiting on test results. When Kevin asked what they needed to discuss, all the doctor said was that it’s about the course of action to take going forward.
When Cyrus took his leave, it was just Laura and Kevin watching over Lulu, only an incubator and some blonde hair to be seen. Kevin comforted his wife as she worried about her daughter, while Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) finally updated Rocco (Finn Carr) on what’s going on with his mom.
When Laura and Kevin’s visit came to an end, the doctor informed them that Lulu’s liver is compromised and could fail. “Are you telling me that my daughter’s going to die?” Laura asked.
Do you think this means a Lulu recast is on the way, and could it involve Lucky’s (Jonathan Jackson) impending return? Let us know in the comments.
