Amidst the funeral devastation and the uncertainty of Lulu’s condition on the August 23, 2024 episode of General Hospital, someone showed up to bring a silver lining to the room and gloom.
He’s Back!
After nearly a decade, Jonathan Jackson returned to GH as Lucky, but things are looking anything but fortunate for the character right now. His return was teased throughout the episode with boots, a cell, and a sack over his head, adding to the mystery of where he’s been.
Finally, at the last minute, someone threw him against a wall and pulled the sack from his head, revealing Lucky’s face. The preview for Monday, August 26, 2024 teased Lucky telling his captor, “I’ll do whatever you need.”
Think Of Lucky… And Lulu
After Lulu was transferred to GH for better care, Laura (Genie Francis, who Jackson revealed he’s most excited to work with again) sat with Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), who remembered the way Lucky told her all about Laura’s strength when Lulu needed a bone marrow transplant as a baby. Laura confided in Elizabeth about how much she misses Lucky and wishes she knew where he was.
Meanwhile, in Lulu’s hospital room, Maxie (Kirsten Storms) painted her best friend’s nails and reminded her of everyone who still needs her. She also reminded viewers that before Lulu’s accident, she confessed to Maxie that she still loved Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), despite them being divorced at the time.
