Laura Wright may play the loud and confrontational Carly on General Hospital, but the actress plans to share a much softer side of herself at her upcoming fan event.
Fan events are nothing new to the GH cast. Katelyn MacMullen (Willow) and Evan Hofer (Dex) recently took the stage together in person, while Chad Duell (Michael) will join MacMullen for a virtual event next month. Another fan favorite from Port Charles with a busy schedule is Laura Wright (Carly), whose upcoming virtual event has a very specific theme.
Wright told Daily Drama, hosted by co-stars Steve Burton (Jason) and Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) that her next Zoom event, called Sacred Space, will take place on March 9, 2025 and focus on meditation and breath work. “I’m very excited. It’s really deeper into oneself,” she shared. “It’s deeper into you, so then you’re able to, I think, to hold space and to share for others.”

As for plans for in-person events, Wright isn’t ruling it out. “I really wanted to do one more class before I take it on the road and started doing Sacred Spaces in person.” The actress noted she hopes it will mimic a living room rather than a stage. “I’m looking at other spaces that are just warm…I want it to be a warm, inviting space for people to feel safe and held.”
If you hope to catch Wright at an in-person event, fear not. The actress will have a meet and greet in Massachusetts on March 22, 2025, then join co-stars Finola Hughes (Anna) and Charles Mesure (Brennan) for Coastal Entertainment events in New Jersey on April 12, 2025, Connecticut on April 13, 2025.
