General Hospital’s Laura Wright Dishes On Willow’s Affair: ‘What The Hell, Drew?’

Everyone’s got an opinion on General Hospital’s infamous Drew and Willow affair, including GH stars. Here’s what Laura Wright had to say about her on-screen daughter-in-law’s fling with her on-screen ex.

Losing It

While appearing on the Daily Drama podcast, hosted by GH’s Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson, Wright was asked what her character would think of Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Willow’s (Katelyn MacMullen) ongoing affair. “Carly would lose her… you know,” Wright revealed. “But to do that on Katie… I would want to just flatten her and she’s the sweetest, kindest… like, even the character is,” the actress continued about both MacMullen and her character.

“I think she’d be more like, ‘What The hell, Drew?'” Wright then said. “Like, ‘Are you out of your mind? That’s my son’s wife, you predator.'”

From Crew To Drillow

Drew and Willow have slowly but surely given in to temptation ever since literal sparks flew during their Fourth of July kiss. Despite Willow’s attempt to steer clear of her husband’s uncle, she couldn’t help herself when she kissed him again in his office and later dreamed she was spending the night with him while Drew confessed his feelings for her to Curtis (Donnell Turner). But it wasn’t too long ago that Drew was with another woman in Port Charles.

When Anderson remembered Drew and Carly were once a thing, Wright had more to say. “I can’t imagine Carly would be happy about that at all. And I can imagine that Jason would have to pull her back, right?”
