Laura Is Ready To Take Down Sidwell On January 23 General Hospital

Now that Sidwell is making himself at home in Port Charles, there’s only one person who can put a stop to it on the January 23, 2025, episode of General Hospital.

Port Charles’ New Baddie

Sidwell (Carlo Rota) has been nothing but a thorn in several sides over the last six months. From holding Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) captive to plotting Jason’s (Steve Burton, who recently paid tribute to the late Leslie Charleson on his podcast) and Anna’s (Finola Hughes) murders to buying Wyndemere, he’s made it his mission to be Port Charles’ next big villain.

Now that he’s working his face around town again, he’s turned on the charm with Lucy (Lynn Herring), Ava (Maura West), and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn). But there’s one person who wasn’t falling for it at the re-opening of Charlie’s. And she took her Intel straight to the mayor.

Sidwell’s Master Plan

After Jordan (Tanisha Harper) was introduced to the man calling himself Jenz Sidwell, she went to Laura’s (Genie Francis) office to warn her that Sidwell had resurfaced. Clearly, he wasn’t being discreet about it. Known to Laura as the man who kept Lucky from her, she did some digging into Sidwell to learn that there were no outstanding warrants for him from the FBI, WSB, or Interpol.

It was then that Laura received Lucy’s request to meet with Sidwell and became increasingly suspicious about why he wanted to meet with her. She agreed to meet with him the next day. The January 24 video preview teased Sidwell’s meeting with Laura assuring him, “We don’t want you in Port Charles.”

Sidwell has already become besties with Lucy, gave much-needed business to Ava at the gallery, and did a little bonding with Alexis over his new home. Is Laura next on his list of powerful women in Port Charles, and if so, why? Tell us what you think in the comments.
