Kristen Alderson, who made her daytime debut playing precocious tyke Starr Manning on One Life to Live back in 1998, and fiancé Taylor Crousore have welcomed their firstborn.
It’s A Girl!
“✨🌟Kiera Sky Crousore🌟✨1-29-2024, 8lbs 5oz 😭🥰💖,” wrote Alderson in a post on Instagram. “She’s everything & more than we could have ever asked for!!! Madly in love🥹”
Alderson and Crousore first announced that they were expecting during a multi-hour livestream on the Twitch platform which benefited the charity War Child USA and Canada. The parents were dressed as, what else, Luigi of Super Mario Bros. fame (read Soap Central’s detailed coverage of the reveal here).
A wider relaying of the happy news was broadcast on Instagram in a post that read in part, “Taylor and I started trying in April of this year, thinking that it could take us a long time to conceive as it does for most people…after only the second month of trying, we found out on May 22nd (while I was in LA staying w/ Brittany Underwood) that I’m pregnant!”
The couple learned of their baby’s gender on July 15, a day made all the sweeter as it coincided with Crousore getting down on one knee and proposing marriage (read more about that here).
Soap Hub sends congratulations to the couple on Kiera’s arrival.
