General Hospital’s Kirsten Storms Shows Off One Of Her Big Blessings

While Kirsten Storms has been wildly popular knitting with her former General Hospital co-star Emme Rylan on Instagram, she also has been blessed with other talents that fans may not have been aware of. Storms recently shared a post chock full of her kitchen creations, and fans were suitably impressed.

GH star Kirsten Storms (Maxie) took a detour from knitting with Emme Rylan (Lulu) to share one of her other passions in a July 27 Instagram post. Sharing a few pictures of some of the meals she made, she wrote, “I just moved, and it’s become kinda clear that I love my new kitchen. I can’t stop making southern food for Harps. She’s digging it and the smells remind me of my childhood. 🥰.” Harps, of course, is the nickname of her daughter Harper that she shares with GH alum and Days of Our Lives star, Brandon Barash (Ex-Johnny, GH; Stefan, DAYS). She continued by describing the meals in her snaps: “I’m getting pretty good at homemade chicken pot pie. This version was definitely the best so far. For dessert (which I only ever make when I have Harper, because..well, she’s 10) I made baked peaches with pecan ice cream and homemade whipped cream ( <— don’t sleep on this guys. It’s incredible and also really good [with] coffee in the morning. Stores well in a container too).” So, not only does she share some amazing dishes she’s created, but she also gives out tips for dealing with leftovers.

Fans Salivating For More

Storms finished off her post with, “Pink waffles for Harper were a breakfast hit, and surprisingly, so was the red beans and rice I made 🙌🏼 (of course served with cornbread). Thankful to have been blessed with a child who’s willing to try new foods. 🙏🏼💗.” As many who have children in their lives know, it’s difficult to please them all the time when it comes to food, but Storms does an admirable job feeding her family. Of course, one fan had to point out an item lacking from her photos by responding, “Where is that cornbread pic?! This looks delish!” But overall, the fans loved her dishes, and many asked for recipes.

One follower hilariously wrote, “I’m waiting for your new business, ‘Kirsten’s Mail Order Chicken Pot Pies.’ ” Another fan had a slightly more serious recommendation, responding, “Crocheting with @emmerylan and Cooking with @kirstenstorms could be a new show 😉 ❤️ That crust looks amazing!” Her pie crust definitely wowed the fans, and one even admitted that while they bake, they use store-bought crusts. Well-wishers congratulated her on her new house, and couldn’t say enough good things about her creations.
