Kathleen Gati Shares Sweet Message About Bradford Anderson
The other day, GH fans watched Liesl (Gati) tell Spinelli (Anderson) that his time with Maxie (Kirsten Storms) was over. In fact, Liesl basically said it’s time for Spinelli to hit the road so Maxie can be with her one true love, Nathan (Ryan Paevey).
Following the scene, Gait used X to make her feelings about working with Anderson crystal clear. The actress reshared a fan’s X post featuring footage from Spinelli and Liesl’s scene to gush over Liesl being “messy” and Gati being beyond talented.
“I always have a blast working with Bradford Anderson! Both of us often have “stylized” dialogue and therefore do not riff…we just try to deliver the well written General Hospital writers’ material with all our hearts to entertain you GH fans! It was awkward and left fans defending, while also feeling Spinelli,” she wrote.
There’s no question that the scene was tense, awkward, and juicy soap goodness. We admit, though, the moment left us feeling bad for Spinelli and wanting to scream at Liesl, even though we adore her. (Here’s how Anderson is bracing for the Maxie–Nathan fallout).
It turns out Gati also sometimes wants to rage at her character. Gati reshared another X post where a fan expressed that Lisel is “wise,” but also frustrated the fan, leading the actress to respond.
“Trust me…I rage at Liesl as well!” Gati shared.
We can all agree that whenever Liesl is on-screen, fans will have opinions.
