Josslyn’s Not Letting Dex Go Without Justice on General Hospital

The death of Dex at General Hospital has added to the mystery of who killed Sam. And it has also added to the mystery of who originally tampered with Lulu’s ventilator when she was still in a coma. Fans were saddened by the one-two punch of losing these characters who still had a lot of story potential. Dex’s girlfriend, Josslyn, is beside herself. Now, her portrayer, Eden McCoy, has come out and spoken about how Joss isn’t going to let his demise go without a fight.

She’s Very Angry

McCoy told Soap Opera Digest that she didn’t see Dex’s death coming. In fact, she found it to be a shock with all of the deaths on GH lately. “It was a lot of shock, and obviously, there was sadness that he and I weren’t going to work together anymore,” she stated, adding that their final moments together were bittersweet. But she was excited about Evan Hofer’s (Dex) future prospects. 

After Joss realizes that Dex’s stabbing injury isn’t life-threatening and pairs that with Sam’s unexpected death, she knows something is up. “She’s really, really angry, and she’s very hungry for answers — and this is not going to be something that she lets go of until she feels like justice has been served,” she declared. The actress insisted that Joss won’t stop until she gets answers.

Justice Must Be Served

Fans have always joked that Joss’ brother Michael (Chad Duell) had the biggest track record for girlfriends who’ve died, but now Joss is starting to rack them up. First, Oscar (Garren Stitt) and now Dex. Shortly after Dex’s death, Jason (Steve Burton) takes Joss to his special bridge so she can gather her wits. McCoy explained that Jason didn’t just say things Joss wanted to hear. He let her feel her feelings and get things out in the open by being the good listener he always is.

Despite some conflicts in the past, Josslyn knows that she can rely on Jason to be there for her even if he doesn’t have any words to smooth something over. McCoy loves the fact that Joss and Jason will “tell each other like it is.” But now that things are harrowing at the hospital, Joss will try to get some answers. “No words of comfort from any character are going to suffice for her until justice is served, in her eyes,” she boldly stated.
