General Hospital Alum Johnny Wactor’s Cause of Death Revealed

The death of Johnny Wactor continues to make national headlines. The former General Hospital actor, who played Brando, was killed last weekend after coming upon three thieves attempting to steal his catalytic converter. Now, there’s more news about the actor’s tragic killing.

Cause of Death

According to People, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner office has determined that Wactor died from a gunshot wound to the chest. His death is being ruled a homicide.

As previously reported, Wactor died in the early hours of May 25. He was leaving his job as a bartender and was walking with a female colleague when he came upon three men whom he thought were towing his car.

Wactor shielded his friend and was shot. At press time, no suspects have been arrested. The late actor’s GH pals, including his former leading lady, Sofia Mattsson, who plays Sasha, have posted tributes to Johnny Wactor.

HIs godmother, Michaele, has set up a GoFundMe to help Wactor’s mother and brothers with expenses.
