It’s taken Jason a few weeks to get his bearings since returning to Port Charles, and the April 9, 2024 episode of General Hospital has him back in business…but Sonny isn’t having it.
When Jason (Steve Burton) met with Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) about his estate, she immediately questioned the location of their meeting, asking why he chose to meet at the Corinthos Coffee warehouse when Sonny (Maurice Benard) has been anything but welcoming since his return. Jason simply opened the office door and told her this would be his new office.
After getting things in order with his estate, he also reminded Diane that he owns half of the coffee business and plans to continue working there now that he’s back. Diane also filled him in on everything that happened between Sonny, Carly (Laura Wright), and Nina (Cynthia Watros) since he’s been gone.
Diane went right from her meeting with Jason to Sonny’s penthouse where she informed him of Jason’s plans to work for the business again. When Sonny said that’s not going to happen, Diane told him Jason has already taken the warehouse office.
“Message received,” was all Sonny said as he walked out the door and straight to the warehouse. He walked in to find Jason already working, and when he was greeted with a friendly, “What’s up, Sonny?” from Jason, he immediately shot back, “I want you gone.”
The harsh words from his former best friend seemed to take Jason aback, and the teaser for April 10, 2024 shows Sonny having it out with Jason, saying, “I don’t want you anywhere near it!”
