Since Jason rocked Port Charles with his return to General Hospital, it was only a matter of time before he wound up in the custody of the PCPD. But it appears he may not be there for long.
A lot of people have involved themselves in Jason’s (Steve Burton) crimes since his return — Carly (Laura Wright), Michael (Chad Duell), Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), Danny (Asher Antonyzyn), even Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) was shot after the shock of seeing Jason alive and well on the pier.
But after hiding out at the Quartermaine boathouse for a few days, Jason decided the best option for everyone was to turn himself in. When Diane (Carolyn Hennessy) got a call from Michael, she wasn’t too surprised to hear Jason’s voice on the other end of the line, telling him she’d been waiting for this call.
Jason made quite the entrance when he walked into the PCPD, stonecold as ever, finally turning himself in. Chase (Josh Swickard) arrested him before Diane convinced him to let her speak to her client before booking.
Alone in the interrogation room, Diane reminded Jason that he was facing serious charges, including attempted murder for Dante’s shooting. When she finally asked if he would tell her what’s happened, he simply said, “I can tell you this…I won’t be in here for long.”
Spoilers for the week of March 25-March 29, 2024 tease that Jason tells his story, presumably to Diane, who will easily be able to defend him during his arraignment later in the week.
Do you think Jason is being overly confident about his case, or is it inevitable that he’ll get off for his crimes? Let us know in the comments.
