Jason Arrives On General Hospital Guns-a-Blazing! What Now?

The Monday, March 4 episode of General Hospital was one fans have been waiting for. Jason Morgan is back, and his return has left the viewers and one specific Port Charles citizen with questions.

The Reveal

Unlike what you would expect from a soap, GH didn’t leave us hanging or wait until the final second of the episode for Jason’s (Steve Burton) big reveal. Instead, just before the opening theme, the camera panned up on a man dressed in black, and there was no doubt it was the one and only Jason Morgan.

Jason was seen alongside an unknown man who acted as his partner throughout the episode. This man was also dressed in black, and joined Jason on the roof of Selina’s (Lydia Look) warehouse, overlooking the PCPD and FBI as they barged in on Selina and Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) meeting.

Shots Are Fired

Things quickly took a turn when Jason’s partner aimed his sniper rifle at Sonny and pulled the trigger. Thanks to a tug on the arm from Jason, the shot missed and no one in the warehouse was hurt.

As everyone in the warehouse ducked for cover, Jason and his partner fled the scene and were seen headed toward the pier by the time Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Chase (Josh Swickard) made it onto the roof. Chase went back to give everyone the all-clear, and Dante followed the suspects.

When Dante drew his gun on the two men on the pier, one got away, while the other stood still and cooperated when Dante asked him to put his hands on his head and turn around. That was when Jason revealed himself.

But the reunion was short-lived when Jason’s partner appeared and shot Dante straight in the chest. With Dante gasping for air on the ground, Jason couldn’t leave Sonny’s son, so he went over to make sure he was okay, and that was when his partner drew his gun on them. But Jason was one step ahead of him, slickly pulling his gun from his pocket and shooting his supposed partner in crime.

While this partner didn’t say much throughout the episode, one thing worth mentioning is the way he referred to Jason as “Jacobs.” Assuming Jason is the “Stone” that’s after Sonny, it can only be assumed he chose the last name Jacobs for his son Jake Webber (Hudson West).

GH Spoilers for March 4 – March 8 reveal that Sonny and Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) will reconnect, most likely over Dante’s shooting, while Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and Ava (Maura West) are in for a shock, presumably when they learn Jason is back.
