Jason And Anna Are Both Protecting The Ones They Love On General Hospital

Jason and Anna have been in the middle of Pikeman’s takeover on General Hospital for months, and on the June 4, 2024 episode, the two fought to protect the people they love, even if it came at each other’s expense.

Protecting Pikeman?

After Anna (Finola Hughes) made a call from Jason’s (Steve Burton, who recently appeared on State of Mind) shooter’s phone and heard Valentin’s (James Patrick Stuart) voice on the other end of the line, she immediately tried covering for her former lover when Jason questioned who answered. He first assumed it was Sonny (Maurice Benard), but when Anna assured him it wasn’t, she finally confessed it was Valentin.

When they realized this meant Valentin was the head of Pikeman, Jason immediately decided he needed to turn him into John (Adam Harrington) in order to get out of his work with the FBI. Anna was noticeably upset over the realization and wanted to protect Valentin at first, but when Jason told her he was going to find evidence against Valentin, she decided to help him take Pikeman down.

Taking Care Of Carly

Anna isn’t the only one trying to protect someone she loves. Jason’s entire time as an FBI informant has all been for one person – the only person the stonecold hitman would work for the FBI for.

John has continued to hold Carly’s (Laura Wright, who will be presenting at the 2024 Daytime Emmys) RICO charges over Jason’s head in order to get him to help the FBI take down Pikeman, and now that Jason finally found Pikeman’s identity, he reminded Anna that the charges against Carly will disappear once he brings the information to John.
