It was an eventful day for James on the August 15, 2024 episode of General Hospital.
After going missing from his family, James (Gary James Fuller) looked for Cody (Josh Kelly) at the boathouse and began playing with a frisbee that landed in the lake. Before he could retrieve it, he heard a voice and hid in the boathouse, where he overheard an unexpected conversation between Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Nina (Cynthia Watros). Willow admitted the reason she resigned from the New Tomorrow Institute was to separate herself from Drew (Cameron Mathison, who you can find every Friday night on Game Show Network), and things only got worse from there.
“I’m attracted to all of him,” Willow told her mother, unknowingly talking about the same man Nina is sleeping with. “This doesn’t feel like a crush,” she admitted before rattling off everything she likes about Drew. Meanwhile, James sat in the boathouse, surprised by this newfound information.
Once Willow and Nina were out of sight, James left the boathouse and reached for the frisbee until he accidentally fell in the lake. Unable to get his bearings, he called out for help, and that was when Cody arrived looking for him.
Cody immediately jumped in action and dived into the lake. The two stood soaked on the deck when James told Cody he saved him and pulled him into a hug just as Mac (John J. York, who recently returned to GH following his cancer battle) appeared. Although Mac already agreed to let James continue seeing Cody, saving his grandson may be what Mac needs to give his son another chance.
Do you think James will let Willow’s secret slip to someone? Let us know in the comments.
