General Hospital‘s Isaiah appears almost perfect, but is he too good to be true? His last name is familiar to any former One Life to Live viewer, and he may be part of a Llanview family.
Blasts From The Past
Many soap watchers miss the good old days with the former ABC lineup of All My Children, One Life to Live, and GH, but the characters live in our memories. GH has had fun bringing in actors from the canceled soaps and sometimes even old characters out of the closet.
Jackson Montgomery (Walt Willey) was married to the one and only Eric Kane (Susan Lucci) and a major player in Pine Valley. The attorney brought his legal skills to Port Charles in 2023. He represented Tracy (Jane Elliott) in her suit against Deception and had some great scenes with Lucy (Lynn Herring) and Felicia (Kristina Wagner).
Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) needed legal representation during his custody suit in 2017, so he called Llanview’s Nora Buchanan (Hillary B. Smith). She reprised her role as Kevin’s (Jon Lindstrom) attorney after he withheld his brother, who was a fugitive. She was able to get the charges dropped.
Are You Related To…?
Fans speculated about Isaiah’s (Sawandi Wilson) last name from the moment he arrived in Port Charles. Could he be related to the Llanview Gannons?
Hank Gannon (Nathan Purdee), another attorney, was once married to Nora. Their daughter is Rachel Gannon. Then there is Hank’s brother, R.J. (Timothy Stickney), who led a life of crime. He went to prison for assault, became a loan shark, created a fake name for himself, kidnapped babies as well as adults, tried to ruin his brother’s law career, and much more.
Isaiah seems like a great guy, and Jordan (Tanisha Harper) has fallen hard for him. A jealous Brick (Steven A. Smith) did some checking up on Jordan’s new boyfriend and insinuated there was something sinister in his family background. Surprisingly, Jordan didn’t question Isaiah too much about it.
A sinister Gannon? That fits R.J. from Llanview perfectly. Isaiah could be his son. He also might be Hank’s son, which would make him R.J.’s nephew. It is looking more and more possible that Isaiah has roots in Llanview and one or more of his relatives might arrive in Port Charles for a visit. Do you think Isaiah is a OLTL Gannon?
