Here’s Why General Hospital’s Jordan And Isaiah Might Team Up

As the mystery patient has been revealed to be a friend of Lucky’s named Isaiah, General Hospital may have a new bad guy-busting duo. Former police commissioner and current assistant mayor Jordan has already saved his life, and the two may have to put their heads together to stop this latest Big Bad, Sidwell.

There Was Instant Chemistry

While Jordan (Tanisha Harper) and Brick (Stephen A. Smith) have off-the-charts chemistry, Smith’s schedule as a sports commentator on several shows may not allow him to be on GH for the time needed to develop a romantic relationship. And while Drew (Cameron Mathison) keeps giving Jordan the eye whenever he sees her, a pairing of the two doesn’t seem likely. But after she kicked an assassin’s butt and saved the life of mystery man Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson), the two may hit it off when they finally speak. (Here’s why Jordan needs more action.)

Wilson felt there could be something there, telling Soap Opera Digest, “When I tested for GH, I tested with Tanisha [Harper, Jordan]. And we had awesome chemistry; we had incredible chemistry.” He said after their test scenes, the two characters seemed to have more going on, and he’s eager to explore their histories. Isaiah owes his life to Jordan, and the two may need to join forces to help find and save Lucky from certain death.

Harper’s Generosity Blew Him Away

Concerning an Isaiah and Jordan team-up, Wilson felt that he and Harper “Had an unspoken agreement immediately of, ‘Okay, this is the thing, we’re here, we’re here,’ and that was from the test itself.”

That feeling that they will work well together is good because it will translate to more powerful scenes between the characters. Upon seeing her before shooting their first scenes, Wilson hugged Harper, saying, “Thank you for being so generous as a scene partner [during my screen test].” He called her “incredible” and marveled at her graciousness.

As the story of Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) and the villainous Sidwell (Carlo Rota) plays out, it’ll be interesting to see how Isaiah and Jordan mesh. He’s a doctor, and Lucky had rescued him from the clutches of the baddie and sent him to Port Charles for help. Little does Lucky realize his help is needed in the form of a liver transplant for his sister, Lulu. An Isaiah and Jordan team up to help rescue him must happen, as Lucky’s mom, Laura (Genie Francis), will need all the help she can to find him.

Wilson gushed about Harper, stating, “I just love working with her. She is so great,” and it’ll be great seeing them together as the story unfolds. (Learn more about Lucky’s clash with Sidwell.)
