It may finally be time for Sonny and Jason to hang up their guns and leave the mob on General Hospital. They’ve had a long run, but all good (?) things must come to an end. Can Jason be swayed to join the WSB?

Closing Time

Many things are changing in Port Charles and Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) health is one of them. He has a serious heart condition and is being treated in Los Angeles. The mob boss realizes the time to move on is fast approaching. Sonny offered the business to Jason but he declined because his priority is now his son Danny (Asher Antonyzyn).

The mob life is dangerous, and what recently happened to Michael made that clearer than ever. It shook Jason to his core, and he wants to find whoever set Sonny’s penthouse on fire and ruined Michael’s life. His instinct was to get revenge, but who could blame him? But Anna (Finola Hughes) talked him down, making him realize another loved one could get caught in the line of fire. So now what?

Stone Cold and Anna have become close, and she would like his help investigating Sidwell (Carlo Rota). They both believe he is the culprit, and the police commissioner would like to put him behind bars.

Whatta Man

Jason has been Sonny’s sidekick for a long time. What does a retired mob enforcer do after that? He could join the family at ELQ, but nobody would want to do that, including Jason. He has worked with Anna before, and they make a good team. Togethe,r they should be able to catch Sidwell and bring him to justice.

Should his next move be to join the PCPD? No, he is not the police officer type. But the WSB may be more his speed. It is physical and adventurous, and he could legally carry a gun this time. He would be catching bad guys, which he sort of did for Sonny. Yes, it is dangerous, but he would be on the right side of the law, which might make his sons proud.

Brennan (Charles Mesure) already asked him to work for the bureau, and he declined. Stone Cold doesn’t trust the WSB Chief but might feel differently because of the fire and reconsider. He would make a great agent. Do you agree? Let us know in the comments.
