Here’s What General Hospital’s Cameron Mathison Did in London

Cameron Mathison’s character Drew has a steamy story happening on General Hospital, which may not end well. However, in the real world, Mathison is having a jolly old time between his numerous projects, and visiting with his kids in Europe. He recently went to London to see his son Lucas, who is studying fashion design at the prestigious Central St Martin, which is part of the University of the Arts London. Mathison took to social media to share the rather lengthy agenda from his visit.

So Much to Do

On Instagram, Cameron Mathison wrote about the laundry list of things he did with Lucas in London, posting, “Highlights of my week in London with Lucas❤️. (Leila was supposed to join us from Paris but she got sick😥💔).” Leila is his daughter who’s currently in Paris studying creative writing and psychology. Mathison’s list began: “Meeting him at the epic coffee cart in morning, riding the tube with him, then walking him to UAL; Thanksgiving dinner at the Hound Restaurant in Chiswick; Portobello Market (and for the first time me buying something at a vintage shop and not him lol).”

He continued the litany of fun activities with: “Dinner and movie nights; Going to the theatre in the West End (A Christmas Carol); Sitting in his dorm and watching him work his magic on his design projects; Squeezing in workouts at the local gym, Going to the art gallery at Kings Cross; [and] having him lead me around The Underground Tube system after 21 years of me leading him around:)” Whew! The two had quite the jaunt around the bustling metropolis.

London Calling

Mathison shared several photos and videos in his post, many of which were him and Lucas enjoying themselves both inside and on the streets. One stunning snap shows London shrouded in fog with sunlight peering over it from the horizon. He also got a cool shot of his reflection in a window, in what is most likely a hotel room in a high-rise overlooking the city. 

There were many other fantastic shots of the London streets as well as Lucas seemingly studying at his dorm room desk, and enjoying a slice of pizza. One fan enjoyed his post, replying, “What great memories!! ❤” Mathison truly loves spending quality times with his kids, and should also consider photography as a second career!
