Heather’s blood test may or may not have sealed her fate on the September 18, 2024 episode of General Hospital.
When Ric (Rick Hearst) – who finally came face-to-face with his brother, Sonny (Maurice Benard) – arrived at Pentonville, he had to hear all about Heather’s (Alley Mills) BLT woes before breaking some bad news to his client. “You’re never getting out of here,” he told her.
Ric explained that her blood test showed the same amount of Cobalt in her system, revealing that the supposed poisoning had nothing to do with the crimes she committed. Heather admitted she’s felt much better since the hip surgery, but Ric couldn’t see any other outcome in her case.
When Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was brought to Pentonville after being denied bail, she was met with an unexpected cellmate: Heather.

Meanwhile, Ric received Heather’s test results from an outside source and compared them with the ones from GH. With confusion on his face, he asked Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) for a second opinion, who confirmed that the outside source’s test showed much less Cobalt in Heather’s system compared to GH’s test.
Unbeknownst to the rest of Port Charles, Portia (Brook Kerr) has been creeping around Heather’s file at GH, and even held the vile of blood in her hand. It’s clear she’s behind the the faulty results, and Elizabeth and Ric may be about to find out when they order another blood test.
Do you think Portia will be found out? Let us know in the comments.
