Everyone loves General Hospital’s snarky Tracy. She tells it like it is and can be very funny, but is her current attitude pushing the limits?
Mean Girl
Tracy (Jane Elliot) has been worse than she is right now. Who could forget when she wouldn’t give her father his heart medication when she thought he was having a heart attack? That story is legendary. Tracy softened a bit when she fell for Luke (Anthony Geary) and was terribly sad after his death. She even has moments of kindness but that has all gone down the drain recently.
The Q matriarch does not like Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) but the reason is a mystery. She may have had feelings for Cody (Josh Kelly) and was jealous of his love interest, although she denied this. Whatever the reason, she is constantly angry with the woman Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) hired as the Quartermaine cook. Tracy treats Sasha horribly, berates and demeans her, and constantly yells at her. The most bizarre thing is that the other Qs stand by and let it happen. The only one who stood up for Sasha was Jason (Steve Burton).
If You Give A Mouse A Cookie
Sasha finally had it when Tracy insisted she climb on shelves to catch a mouse (why wouldn’t they just call an exterminator?), so she snapped and told everyone she was pregnant. Instead of understanding, Tracy called her names. At this point, Sasha should file a lawsuit.
The Q cook also pointed out that Tracy kept Willow’s children from her when it was not her place to do so. She has no rights over Wiley (Viron Weaver) and Amelia (Sequoia & Serenity Mork Macko). She is their great, great aunt. Tracy claims she was doing it for Monica (Leslie Charleson) but was just being mean because she could.
Fight Song
Who will finally stand up to Tracy? Her family isn’t doing it.
Martin (Michael E. Knight) was the one who told her off. He let her have it about what she did with Wiley and Amelia and why. He didn’t buy her blaming Monica and he was finally the person who told her so. It was great to watch.
Another person who won’t take Tracy’s attitude is Stella (Vernee Watson). The two formed a friendship because Stella wouldn’t take her attitude and Tracy respected her for it. If Stella heard her speak to Sasha the way she does, she would put her in her place.
Tracy needs to tone it down. She is no longer just bossy. She is being a bully. Would you like to see Tracy taken down a peg? Let us know in the comments.
