Between his father’s declining health and his brother’s upcoming wedding, Finn has been nearing his breaking point on General Hospital. And after a confrontation with Gregory on the May 9, 2024 episode, Finn has found himself in need of a meeting.
On the day of Chase’s (Josh Swickard) rehearsal dinner at Coney Island, he and Finn (Michael Easton, who recently surprised fans by finally joining Instagram) prepared themselves to break the news to Gregory (Gregory Harrison) that they would rather he not travel to Coney Island due to his progressing ASL (a disease in which GH star Nancy Lee Grahn recently hosted a soap star-studded fundraiser for). But before the two could share their concerns with Gregory, their dad announced he decided to sit the rehearsal dinner out in order to preserve his health for the wedding.
It seemed like smooth sailing until Finn suggested they find a caretaker to stay with their dad while they’re gone and Gregory refused, even after recently giving his granddaughter a scare while being home alone with her. When Finn persisted, the argument escalated into Gregory blowing up at him for sleeping with his then-bride Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) the night before his wedding.
The argument led Finn to going to visit Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to vent about his father, during which he admitted he’s in need of a meeting. Alexis agreed to find him one, but Finn admitted he wondered if he should even go to the rehearsal dinner while his father is left alone.
This comes after he recently rehashed his past mistakes and the growing guilt of cheating with Jackie led to Finn dropping to the floor of his office and researching nearby meetings.
