Genie Francis will bring Laura back to General Hospital. She’s been gone from the ABC daytime drama since Laura and Kevin left in late August to track down Lucky in Africa. While Lucky is back in Port Charles, Laura hasn’t returned. Here’s when you’ll see her.
Soap Opera Digest reported the news. You should see Francis’ Laura back on your screens next Wednesday, October 9 (unless the soap is preempted between now and then).
When news of Jackson’s return as Lucky hit in early July, Francis took to X to share her delight at the prospect. “Dear sweet Jonathan Jackson, this show is so lucky to have you back. I am overjoyed! Can’t wait to work with you again.”

Of course, viewers most want to see Laura reunite with Lucky (Jonathan Jackson). Certainly that moment should arrive soon since Laura will be back in PC. In fact, Francis’s first scene will see Laura with Lucky. They’ll be concerned about Lulu’s (Alexa Havins) declining health, which should be quite emotional.
Interestingly, Laura and Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) aren’t the ones who found Lucky. Instead, Anna (Finola Hughes) and Jason (Steve Burton) were the ones who rescued Lucky from Sidwell (Carlo Rota), leading to that fateful and unexpected kiss.
