Emma Samms: Holly’s Story
Emma Samms joined GH in 1982 as con artist Holly Sutton, who became an instant fan favorite after being paired with Anthony Geary (Luke). But the actress and her British alter-ego shot to soap opera superstardom after she was matched onscreen with Tristan Rogers (Robert). After Luke’s presumed death, Robert proposed to a pregnant Holly to keep her in the country. She miscarried Luke’s baby but fell in love with Robert along the way. The couple continues to share sparks whenever they share the screen.
Earlier this year, Samms wrapped up another stint as Holly and returned to England. Soap Hub sends sincere condolences to Samms at this difficult time.
