General Hospital Emily Wilson
Remember when a pregnant Maxie discovered that her baby’s daddy Spinelli was back with girlfriend Ellie and went ahead and pretended the child she was carrying was Dante and Lulu’s? Now, Ellie’s portrayer, Emily Wilson, is expecting a child of her own!
“[Nine] months in, and we finally got a picture with all THREE of us!” Emily Wilson (Ellie) posted on Instagram along with her husband Adhir Kalyan (Rules of Engagement). “[Adhir] and I cannot wait to welcome our baby girl in a few weeks!!!!! 💗👨👩👧💗.”
As veteran GH viewers recall, Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) fell for Ellie, but their relationship hit a snag after she felt he was still hung up on Maxie (Kirsten Storms). Ellie found out that Maxie had miscarried the baby she was carrying for her pals Lulu (Emme Rylan) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) but was initially confused to discover that Maxie got pregnant so quickly thereafter.
Ellie told Spinelli he was the child’s father. He sued for custody and he, baby Georgie, and Ellie moved to Portland after Ellie got a dream job there. They returned, estranged. Maxie and Spinelli went to the Nurses Ball together. Ellie was Nathan’s (Ryan Paevey) date for the night. Spinelli and Maxie realized they were with the wrong people and the couples reunited.
Spinelli returned to Port Charles after revealing that Ellie got a job on the east coast. Her last appearance on GH was back in 2016.
Kalyan is going to be seen next in the Chuck Lorre (The Big Bang Theory; Mom) sitcom The United States of Al which also stars Parker Young (Enlisted). The series debuts on Thursday, April 1 on CBS.
Young plays Riley and Kalyan plays Awalmir (AKA “Al”). Together, the men served in Afghanistan. The series picks up as they start a new life back in America. The show also stars Kelli Goss (ex-Courtney, The Young and the Restless).
