It’s been a tumultuous time for General Hospital‘s Josslyn Jacks lately, but luckily, the same can’t be said for her portrayer, Eden McCoy.
That’s because she was born on June 10, 2003, in Los Angeles, California, which means that this talented younger actress turns 21 today! McCoy was discovered by a talent scout during the summer she spent at a theater camp.
That led to subsequent work in print campaigns and commercials for businesses like Wells Fargo and products like Valpak coupons. Her first professional credit was the feature film Perfect Man.
McCoy has guest-starred in episodes of Scary Tales, The Thundermans, Game Shakers, and Walk the Prank. She has also appeared in the short films Hit the Hitman, Cookies & Crime, and Lit, as well as the made-for-TV movie The Nerd Posse and the film, Stay Tuned: The Movie.
On October 14, 2015, McCoy joined the cast of General Hospital and assumed the role of Josslyn Jacks, daughter of Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), replacing Hannah Nordberg and became the seventh actress to play the part.
For her work on the series, McCoy has been nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award in the category of Outstanding Younger Actress in 2019 and 2020. Like her fictional counterpart, McCoy is an avid volleyball player, and she plays for the USC Women’s Beach Volleyball team for the class of 2025.
Soap Hub would like to wish Eden McCoy a very happy birthday and you can too by clicking on the X (formerly Twitter) link below.
