Things haven’t been the same for Sasha on General Hospital since Brando Corbin was murdered. While Brando never got his happily ever after, actor Johnny Wactor has a reason to celebrate.
And that’s because he was born on August 31, which means that this talented daytime newcomer is turning another year older today! Wactor spent his middle and high school years participating in theatrical productions, and it was while he was attending the College of Charleston that he landed his earliest professional credit — three episodes of Lifetime’s Army Wives.
Wactor subsequently appeared in a plethora of short films — The Grass Is Never Greener, Lover’s Speed, GoldenBox, Snap Judgement, Synchronicity, Roundhay Hall, The Con-Artist, The Proposal, and Mr. and Mrs. Kill — as well as the TV series Siberia in which he had a starring role.
Johnny Wactor joined the cast of General Hospital in 2020, marking his daytime debut. He arrived in Port Charles via a shootout, and it turned out he was the presumed dead son of Mike’s cousin, Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs). He has since had a one-night stand with Molly and angered her big sister, Sam (Kelly Monaco). He had a one-night stand with Sasha (Sofia Mattsson), got her pregnant, married her, and they lost little Liam. It wasn’t that long after that Brando was murdered by The Hook, Heather Webber (Alley Mills).
