Drew’s antics and obnoxious behavior finally caught up with him on General Hospital. As Soap Hub reported, he’s one of the most hated characters in soap history.
The other day, someone put two bullets in Drew in a moment very reminiscent of Who Shot JR on Dallas back in the ‘80s. Now, a new mystery begins as to who pulled the trigger, but GH fans are pretty sure they know the answer already.
The Shooter Is?
Social media has been on fire since Drew (Cameron Mathison) was shot, with thoughts on the shooter. Despite a lengthy list of suspects, fans are predicting that Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) is on the other end of the gun.
“Willow did it. I would bet anything,” wrote a fan on X.
Another fan stated, “I think it’s Willow actually… the shadow – short hair And at GH – she said(whispered) “After you said I could get my kids back” It felt more aimed at Drew than Chase.”
“This doesn’t look like the face of an innocent woman,” declared a fan.
One fan shared, “That look on Willow’s face when Drew kissed her cheek. Now I’m thinking she may have done it.”
“Damn. I really thought Kai would be the one to off Drew. Now I’m putting it all on Willow,” expressed a fan.
There was even a poll on X that had Willow leading as the shooter with 70%. Other suspects in the poll included Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Marco (Adrian Anchondo), Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Jason (Steve Burton) and Sonny (Maurice Benard).
GH fans have spoken, and they feel Willow shot Drew. While the Port Charles PD might not consider her a suspect because of her recent reunion, fans know Willow has been spiraling for months after losing custody of her kids.
We have to wonder if Willow is too obvious a choice? Soaps tend to have an obvious suspect from the jump to throw fans off before revealing the real shooter.
One thing is for sure: there’s so much more to this story, so fans will be waiting a while to see if it was Willow or someone else who shot Drew.
