Anna’s (Finola Hughes) kidnapping has GH fans mentioning Robin (Kimberly McCullough) more as Emma (Braedyn Bruner) deals with her missing grandmother on her own.
Robin could definitely add a new layer to the storyline. However, it’s no secret that McCullough remains focused on directing instead of acting, which one fan on X brought up.
“Some don’t wanna hear it, but the truth is this character needs to be recasted because she is needed in current storylines and not having her around, feels completely out of character and not true to history GH,” wrote the fan.
The X was reshared by a fan who disagreed, saying they would rather have a recast Duke (Ian Buchanan) than have a new Robin return to Port Charles.

It’s hard to imagine anyone playing Robin other than McCullough (who celebrated a stunning GH milestone in 2025). And honestly, we don’t want to see anyone else in the role. Some soap characters can’t be recast, and for us, Robin is one of them.
We do agree that Robin should be in the current Emma and Anna storylines, but this can be done through phone calls or conversations, which give the character on-screen presence while remaining off-screen.
The one thing that must happen is for McCullough to return to honor Rogers. Considering McCullough’s close bond with Rogers, it would be a shock if she didn’t.
