With the news of Erika Slezak joining General Hospital, fans are wondering if the actress will be bringing her beloved One Life To Live character to Port Charles.

As fans wait to find out what role Slezak will play in PC, many are speculating she could bring her legendary OLTL character, Viki Lord, over to GH.
“Viki Buchanan and all her other last names gone be REAL good to see!” one hopeful viewer posted on X (formerly Twitter), while another shared a slew of photos of Slezak, wondering, “Legendary actress Erika Slezak joins the cast! Viki? Niki? Or? Hmmm!!!!!” The name Niki refers to Viki’s alternate personality Niki Smith, from OLTL’s famous Dissociative Identity Disorder storyline.

One fan even has a great back story for Viki’s connection to Port Charles. “Years and years ago, I wrote a fan fiction crossing over OLTL & GH. I wrote that Viki and Tracy had attended college together,” they shared, referring to Jane Elliot’s character.
Where We’ve Seen It Before
Slezak would be far from the first to bring their Llanview persona over to GH. It first began in 2012 after OLTL went off the air and three actors soap-jumped: Michael Easton as John McBain, Roger Howarth as Todd Manning, and Kristen Alderson as Starr Manning. They were joined by Florencia Lozano as Téa Delgado and Hillary B. Smith as Nora Buchanan for short stints, as well as Kassie DePaiva as Blaire Kramer, who was later revealed to be one of Martin’s (Michael E. Knight) ex-wives.
Of course, the very first soap-jumped was Robin Christopher as Skye Chandler, who appeared on all three ABC soaps, but originated on All My Children.
