Goodbyes were said all around Port Charles on the October 22, 2024 episode of General Hospital.
Farewell, Marshall
Curtis (Donnell Turner) hosted family and friends at The Savoy for a farewell party for Marshall (Robert Gossett) before he leaves for tour. Marshall’s goodbye comes just a day after Violet’s (Jophielle Love) emotional farewell and not long before the impending end of Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) run.

Marshall offered words of wisdom to Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Gio (Giovanni Mazza), noting Trina should use the vocal talent she has. But after wishing them all well, the party took a turn when Ric (Rick Hearst) arrived to break the news to Heather’s (Alley Mills) victims that she was about to be a free woman.
Final Scenes
Meanwhile at GH, as Sam prepared for her surgery, she was visited by Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) bearing hugs and a bouquet of balloons. In what was presumably the actors’ final scenes together, the tears flowed as Maxie thanked Sam for helping save her best friend while Spinelli complimented her bravery.
Later, Maxie admitted to Spinelli that Lulu was still in love with Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and debated telling him the truth while Dante paid his girlfriend a visit after she convinced Lucas (Van Hansis) to be her surgeon. But with Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) stepping up for Lucky (Jonathan Jackson), things may not go as planned when he insists he be the surgeon.
With Sam’s final days approaching, more goodbyes will most likely be on the way as Monaco wraps up 21 years on GH.
