It was another emotional day in Port Charles on the November 1, 2024 episode of General Hospital as everyone learned about Sam’s death.
After Sam (Kelly Monaco) died from a heart attack on Halloween night, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Rocco (Finn Francis Carr) walked into GH overhearing Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn, who recently revealed how hard Sam’s death scenes were to film) saying her daughter was gone. Dante immediately wondered what happened, he and Rocco both in tears when Laura (Genie Francis) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) walked in, worrying something happened to Lulu.
While Alexis went to tell her other daughters and Laura took her grandson to the chapel, Dante decided to see Sam. He cried at her bedside, saying it wasn’t supposed to be this way and later blaming himself for her death.
Meanwhile, after Jason (Steve Burton) told Carly (Laura Wright) what happened, he had the devastating task of telling Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) and Scout (Cosette Abinante). He broke it to them gently, assuring them their mom was in Heaven.
Carly decided to break the news to Drew (Cameron Mathison, who you can catch on TV this weekend) before Jason brought the kids over. Drew promised his daughter he was there for her while Jason assured Danny he’d be there for him.

As for Alexis, when she got to Sam’s apartment and found Kristina (Kate Mansi) and Molly (Kristen Vaganos) doing what they do best – arguing – she finally sat them down and told them their sister had died.
With the video preview teasing more fallout from Sam’s passing, like Drew talking to an upset Scout and Jason reminding Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) they have their friendship because of Sam, who else needs to learn about the tragic death? Let us know in the comments.
