Everyone Is Onto Ava’s Scheme On General Hospital

Ava has been snaking her way into Sonny’s life for months on General Hospital, going as far as keeping the secret of his low bipolar medication dosage. But more than one person is now onto her scheme on the May 14, 2024 episode.

When Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) got a call from Sonny’s (Maurice Benard, who reminisced on all of his GH Carlys) pharmacist informing him that Sonny’s wife knows about the low dosage, Valentin asked just what his supposed wife looked like. All the pharmacist could remember was that she was blonde and beautiful, and Valentin remarked that Sonny has a slew of beautiful blondes in his life.

Valentin’s first thought was Sonny’s most recent ex-wife Nina (Cynthia Watros), who he slyly questioned about reconciling with her ex. Nina assured him she hadn’t, but Ava (Maura West) had. Before Valentin could investigate Carly (Laura Wright), he was certain the beautiful blonde in question was Ava.

Somebody’s Watching Her

Meanwhile, at the gallery, John (Adam Harrington, who recently revealed he didn’t know he was a recast) showed up to question Ava about Sonny’s organization. When Ava refused to answer, John pressed about her former life in the mob, asking her whether she’s in love with Sonny or setting him up for a takeover.

Ava reminded him she’s none of his business, but John told her to consider herself on notice with the FBI. “So, if you get the feeling you’re being watched, it’s because you are,” he warned her before listing off everything she did that morning.
