General Hospital alum Emme Rylan revealed that the soap is recasting her former character, Lulu. The revelation came after TV Insider speculated that a new role for a character named “Lauren” was really Lulu.
The actress shared an Instagram story, which you can see below, that said, “Yes, it is true. GH has decided to recast Lulu.”
“Although I am very disappointed with their choice, I am glad to finally have closure. (And thank goodness GH brought all of you fabulous people into my life! Love you guys!),” she wrote.
For a while now, soap fans have speculated that this would be the perfect time for Lulu to wake up from her coma. The chatter especially picked up after Laura (Genie Francis) went to visit her daughter, Lulu.
From the sounds of things, it looks like fans may see Lulu back on their screens in late October or early November if “Lauren” does turn out to be Lulu. What do you think? Do you want to see Lulu back in Port Charles? Who would you like to see play her. Let us know in the comments below.
